Background

In Uganda, VULNERABLE persons are viewed as cults and often discriminated and stigmatized. Then legal and policy prejudice have hindered access to services and enjoyment of right to health among VULNERABLE persons. The VULNERABLE community continues to be attacked and beaten unlawfully VULNERABLE persons also face social exclusion, family rejection, denial of health services and unemployment. It’s from the above background HUREED was founded to give a platform for VULNERABLE persons to share experiences and help members feel at home, build their confidence and empower them economically through business entrepreneurial and vocational skills.
